Cindy Kang is a New York-based illustrator and picture book maker from Seoul, South Korea. After spending her childhood in Korea, New Zealand, and the United States, she moved to New York to pursue a career in the arts, receiving her BFA from the School of Visual Arts. She has since been creating colorful works combining organic textures with vibrant palettes, conveying warmth and reverie.

Often inspired by her surroundings, she loves to create pieces on urban life, socio-environmental issue, and mental wellness. When not at her desk, she enjoys daydreaming while watching the clouds.
