Cindy Kang is a NYC-based illustrator and picture book maker from Seoul, South Korea.
Since graduating from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Illustration, she has created artworks for a diverse array of clients. Her works have received awards and recognitions from American Illustration, 3x3 Magazine, The Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, and Graphis, among others.
Her colorful works combine organic textures with vibrant palettes, conveying warmth and reverie. She loves exploring various stories around us and often creates pieces on mind and emotions, wellness, family dynamics, and childhood memories.
When not at her desk, she enjoys daydreaming while watching the clouds.
