Cindy Kang is a New York-based illustrator and picture book maker from Seoul, South Korea.

Since graduating from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA in Illustration, she has created artworks for a diverse array of clients. Her works have received awards and recognitions from American Illustration, 3x3 Magazine, The Society of Illustrators, and Communication Arts, among others.

Her colorful works combine organic textures with vibrant palettes, conveying warmth and reverie. Often inspired by her surroundings, she loves to explore the narrative and create pieces on human relationships, psychology, social issues and wellness.

When not at her desk, she enjoys daydreaming while watching the clouds.
